Due to continual spamming, forum registrations are now by Invitation Only. Hopefully this will be only a temporary measure to combat spammers.

I have just downloaded and installed CamStudio_Setup_v2.6b_r294_(build_24Oct2010).exe on an R50e IBM notebook running XP SP3. When I use the desktop icon to start it I receive the message "This application has failed to start because the application configurationis incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem". Going into the programs area and clicking the Player link, it seems to open. The other links in the Camstudio programs give the above error. I have uninstalled and re-installed it without success. Can you suggest how to solve this problem.
