    Why does Cam studio have the big square underneath?
    Wouldn't it be better to either get rid of it and make it more slender, or put some useful buttons on there that bought up options or tools ? I can thik of a few shortcut buttons it could contain, like the magnifiing glass for starters, and maybe a better annotation application.
    I can hack them in to a version if people think its a good idea.

    You can get rid of the "big square" by clicking on the collapse button (fourth button over after the "Stop" button).

    I use ZoomIt from SysInternals at Microsoft for zooming.

    Rather than hacking these into a version, why not join the development team at SourceForge?
