ffdshow not showing up in camstudio?

Hi, I installed ffdshow from this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/files/latest/download

But it doesn't show up in the camstudio video options? I tried restarting my computer but that didn't help.

I'm on Windows 7 64bit

Yes, you've found a major bug in the 2.6b versions. It was fixed in the 2.6c version found in the "Next" folder at Sourceforge.

You need 7-Zip to un-zip this:

http://www.7-zip.org/

And the 2010 version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries (likely already in your machine)

x64 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13523

x386 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328

Run CamStudio from the recorder.exe file in the folder. There is no installer for 2.6c

CamStudio uses the 32-bit version of ffdshow.
